Letter about a brother's concern and advice

In the next letter, it is altogether about a brother’s concern, advice and love to another brother. Here Vincent wrote this letter to his brother Theo. Vincent told his brother to ‘seek only for light and freedom and do not immerse yourself deeply in the worldly mire. He is telling his brother to seek the spiritual way in order to attain peace. He also expressed when their father once wrote to him and said that “Do not forget the story of Icarus, who wanted to fly to the sun, and having reached a certain height lost his wings and fell into the sea.” What he is telling here is that he is talking about his ambition and although Vimcent is a painter, but his words are very political. This in other terms shows that he is a man of few words. Apart from that Vincent is a very religious person and although he is a great painter but he is not that successful. He has suffered a lot where he has become mad. He wanted to be a priest but then didn’t succeed. Later on he went to take up painting and now his paintings has become a source of inspiration and motivation for other painters. There are a lot of messages that can be found in his paintings and most of all are beautifully carved with expressions. One of his famous paintings was the Starry, Starry Nights.
